Vehicles in German City Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Local Police
Police stated they were alerted by a resident who noticed a car in Hanau marked with red-colored fluid

Approximately fifty automobiles have been marked with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Automobiles, building surfaces and postboxes were vandalized, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they reported in a statement.

Police report they were contacted during the night on Wednesday night, when a man discovered that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a reddish-hued substance.

The substance had been drawn in the form of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Officers then discovered numerous other vandalized cars and building exteriors in the nearby vicinity.

Swastikas are illegal in Germany under regulations banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement report preliminary tests indicate the fluid was probably blood from a person.

"At present there remains no lead as to its source; authorities are not yet cognizant of any injuries in relation with the event," they stated.

Local authorities said they were working "to solve the mystery" and have requested to the residents for details.

A senior representative stated the incident rendered him stunned and had to be resolved promptly.

"This act hits the center of Hanau and reopens the pain of the right-wing violent incident five years ago," he posted on online, mentioning the death of nine victims by a assailant focusing on individuals of immigrant origin in five years prior.
